Community Partnerships

Part of our work as Village Ways is to work directly with rural communities, helping them build tourism that works for them.

Our featured short experiences

Discover the waterways, forests,  and islands through the eyes of the Sundarbans community. We’re working with local partners to develop responsible, community-led ways to experience this extraordinary landscape.

A network of rural stays and community-led experiences in the Gangotri region, offering a slower, more local way to explore the Himalayas. We’re working with local hosts to strengthen these experiences and connect them with responsible travellers.

Chhattisgarh with GPM Eco Tourism

Working alongside rural and tribal communities in Chhattisgarh to develop thoughtful, locally-led tourism experiences. Together, we’re creating new ways for travellers to encounter the region’s forests, cultures, and everyday life.

Every summer, we host The Teheri Mango Festival, celebrating mango varieties in Chhattisgarh. We also run a wilderness holiday in MP and Chhattisgarh that spans both states – Forests and Fables.

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board

A collaboration with rural communities in Madhya Pradesh to develop meaningful experiences. We’re helping reimagine tourism here beyond the mainstream safari route.

We can customise holidays in Madhya Pradesh. We also run two itineraries: Forests and Fables and The Satpura Trail.
